Looking for a guilt-free way to embrace ice-cream season with open arms?
These coconut water ice-lollies are easy peasy!
Simply grab a carton of coconut water- I like Vita Coco or Koh personally.
Pop the coconut water into your blender with a variety of your favourite fruit- and blend until you get your preferred consistency- Do taste as you go along as I’m not a big fan of very sweet things so prefer mine a little watered down- ie less fruity!
I like one fruit and coconut water or even a plain flavoured coconut water one works well too! The just whack it into ice-lolly moulds- you can get them in Deals or Ikea- and leave to set in the freezer for 3-4 hours. To remove without making a mess tip them on to their side and gently pour hot (not boiling!) water over the bottom plastic part of the moulds, allowing them to fall onto a plate!
The following combos not only taste delicious but they also look great!
- Pineapple coconut water and kiwi fruit
- Coconut water and pineapple
- Coconut water and blueberries
- Coconut water and berry mix
Coconut water is ideal for keeping you hydrated as the weather gets warmer and they make a great pre or post-workout snack to keep you nice and energised as they contain electrolytes!
