Irish mum launches 100% organic range of baby food!
Organic Little One provides all the nutrition and taste of homemade baby food, without the hard work!
An exciting new range of organic infant food is transforming Ireland’s baby food market. Organic Little One, the brainchild of mum-of-two Niamh O’Dwyer, has launched a range of 100% organic chilled purées and meals; a delicious, nutritious and convenient range of baby foods, which offers Mums the perfect alternative to over-processed long life jars and pouches.
Organic Little One offers a selection of weaning purées (Stage 1, 6 months + ) in individually sealed 60g portions, they are currently available in five flavours – carrot, butternut squash, sweet potato, apple and pear. You can find these tasty little purées beside yogurts in the fridges of SuperValu nationwide, with a RRP of €2.99. The company plans to launch a range of stage 2 meals (from 7 months) and stage 3 meals (from 10 months) later this year.
Niamh O Dwyer, Founder and Managing Director, Organic Little One says: “It is recognised worldwide that the first 1000 days of life from conception to a child’s 2nd birthday offers a unique opportunity to shape a healthier future. With this in mind, when weaning my boys I wanted them to enjoy natural and tasty fresh foods. When I trawled through the available baby foods in the supermarket aisles I could not find a freshly prepared convenient baby food and discovered the choice was either to make more nutritious, fresh baby food at home or buy shelf stable, over processed jars. I started making my own purées and quickly found myself spending all day Saturday making batches of purées and baby foods, but as you know life can be hectic and family time is precious and this inspired me to create Organic Little One.”
