SKINS DNAmic Compression

I was lucky enough last week to be invited to the launch of the SKINS DNAmic range– so much fun and a really great way to test out the new range! SO how did I fare out?

I’ve been using the SKINS for over a year and, to put it simply, this range is quite literally a second skin- allowing you complete range of motion, support where you need it and it even helps you recover more readily…More importantly, you feel like a god damn GODDESS wearing it.

The difference is in the quality of the material, the fit, the finish- it’s where function meets fashion. Now for the science bit- Dynamic Gradient Compression technology helps you perform better for longer and recover faster. This new range has all the compression wear you need to reach your fitness peak, look good, and feel great!

The great thing about the event I attended was getting the chance to wear them, properly test them out training- all kinds of different exercises- from squats, to box-jumps, push-ups to crunches. So did they past the test? You bet they did- I even got to take some cheesy shots jumping, stretching and sweating- but still felt comfortable, strong and confident in the gear!

I got got to hang out with some amazing like-minded fitness freaks, some of the Dublin GAA crew and get our asses kicked by the lovely (but deadly!) Paul Oppermann of Dublin Sports Clinic- tough day at the office!

So would I recommend SKINS DNAmic compression gear?

YES, YES AND YES. This is quality gear made for athletes, but perfect for those who simply want to up their training, recover more quickly and feel like an absolute BEAST whilst doing so. Be sure to take note of your size- I wear a size small in this range, but for the capris and more fitted bra style vests, I’d be an XS- and to put this into context, I’m an XS in all Nike gear! I hope that helps in terms of sizing  🙂

And also, keep in mind, I’m far from a ‘fitness model’- as you can see in the photos. I’m 158cm and have strong curvy legs, bum and hips and a leaner torso- and still these feel good! It really depends what you are looking for in terms of quality, but with SKINS, what you see is what you get. Just remember to wash them carefully and don’t use softener, as with any compression wear like this! You will keep them box-fresh if you treat them with care.
