Where to Buy a Walking Pad in Ireland: Retailers Compared
You can buy a walking pad in Ireland from online walking pad specialists, sports chains with shops, a fitness showroom, or brand stores that deliver from elsewhere in the EU. This guide compares where to buy, what each retailer stocks and the delivery, returns and warranty terms they publish.
Quick answer
- Lowest prices: online walking pad stores such as Home Fitness Code, with models from about €100 delivered free.
- See one in a shop or return it in person: Decathlon and Intersport Elverys, which have stores around Ireland.
- Premium brands: KingSmith (WalkingPad) and UREVO through their EU stores, or McSport’s showroom, which lists KingSmith but had them out of stock when we checked.
- Be careful with UK sellers: check that the price includes Irish VAT and that delivery to Ireland will not add customs charges.

Which type of retailer suits you?
Online walking pad stores
Usually the widest choice and lowest prices, with free delivery. You cannot try before you buy, so check the returns window and who pays return postage for a bulky item.
Sports chains with shops
Decathlon and Elverys let you see the product, collect in store and return it in person. The range of walking pads is smaller and often focused on own or house brands.
Fitness showrooms
Good for trying premium models and getting advice. Check stock before you travel, as popular walking pads sell out.
EU brand stores
KingSmith and UREVO sell direct with euro prices and delivery to Ireland. Warranty claims go to the brand, so read its terms before ordering.
Checklist before you buy
- Delivered price: is delivery to Ireland free, and is Irish VAT included?
- Where it ships from: EU warehouses avoid customs charges. UK sellers may add VAT or duty unless they collect it at checkout.
- Plug type: walking pads sold for the UK and Ireland use a three-pin plug; some EU listings use a two-pin plug.
- Returns: how many days, and who pays to send a 20 to 30 kg parcel back.
- Warranty: how long, and whether claims go to the shop or the manufacturer.
- Stock and delivery time: a product page does not always mean it is in stock.
Not sure which walking pad to buy yet?
Pick the type first, then the shop. These guides narrow it down:
Buying a second-hand walking pad
Used walking pads appear on DoneDeal and Adverts.ie. They can be good value, but you usually lose the warranty and returns. Ask the seller to run it at several speeds, listen for knocking or belt slipping, check the remote is included and confirm the maximum user weight on the label.
